WA Supreme Court Candidate On Campaign Tour Now

For Immediate Release:

Judge Dave Larson is Running for Supreme Court, Position 3 in Washington State. Campaign Tour Now in Eastern Washington 10/7-10/13

SEATTLE, WA (October 9, 2020) – Judge Dave Larson is running for Washington Supreme Court Pos.3 and will be on a campaign tour in eastern Washington October 7th – October 13th (see below for tour dates and locations).

Judge Larson will be a strong, informed, and reasoned influence on our state’s highest court.  “Judge Larson is exactly what our state’s highest court and the people of this state need, especially in this time of confusion and uncertainly. He has proven over and over again that he has the skills to build trust and confidence wherever he goes,” says former Secretary of State Sam Reed.

Judge Larson believes that there needs to be more diversity of thought on the Supreme Court so that decisions are more balanced and trusted.  He also believes in restoring confidence through better adherence to the State Constitution.

In addition, Judge Larson says that, “our local courts and communities are hurting from the effects of addiction, untreated mental illness, and homelessness and our Supreme Court remains silent.  We need more leadership on the Supreme Court to help the affected courts, people, and communities across our state.”  Learn more by listening to his interview on Seattle Morning News with Dave Ross on KIRO Radio.

He has been a highly respected trial judge in Federal Way Municipal Court since 2008. He was a highly rated trial lawyer for 23 years in state and federal court and was the former President of the Federal Way School Board. His extensive and diverse experiences will prove to be critical for the state’s highest court.

Judge Larson formerly ran for state Supreme Court in 2016 and was endorsed by a broad base of supporters including business, labor, Republicans, Democrats, and three major newspapers.  In 2020, Judge Larson’s campaign has been funded by individual donations but he still enjoys broad support across this state.
