Gov. Jay Inslee has appointed 57 judges including 3 Supreme Court Justices. I think is is going to be pretty difficult to get much traction in the courts with respect to over turning any arguably unconstitutional orders or regulations.
This is all a lesson in why it is important to be politically engaged. This situation did not develop over night. It has been decades in the making. Our legislature and our courts are pretty much one sided.
The good news is that more people are waking up and becoming engaged. The bad news is that it is going to take a long time and a lot of work to unwind this.
Please pay attention to who is running for office- including judicial candidates. Do your research, like checking the Public Disclosure website to see who if funding their campaigns; special interest groups or people like you? Then support the candidates you like with time and money. How about pledging $30-$50 a month? If you do not, we will get more of the same.
